Limescale is the precipitation of calcium salts especially in hard water areas where the water is heated, or there is pressure drop, causing hard scale to form in pipes, taps, washing machines, shower heads, geysers, solar heaters and boilers. Limescale combines with soap, making it lather less. It leaves tide marks on baths, sinks, basins, toilets and taps that are difficult to remove.​

HOW DOES SCALETRON WORK?
Water is passed in a turbulent state over a very special metal alloy surface. This electrolytic action changes the super saturation ratio of water and ensures that deposits of lime only occur as microscopic particles and do not form hard limescale.

Where Do I Install it ?
SCALETRON is easy to install. The standard sizes are designed for fitting to standard G.I. pipes and should be installed at a point where water enters the overhead tank. It is simply plumbed into the rising main after the pump and before the overhead tank.
How Do I Install it ?

Turn off the stopcock and check that the supply to the overhead tank is off.
2. Cut out an appropriate section of the pipe after the stopcock or after the pump either in horizontal or vertical
section.
CAUTION: there may be some leakage from the cut pipe.
3. Using the appropriate fittings for you particular pipework, fit the SCALETRON into the system ensuring the
flow is in the direction of the ARROW.
4. Turn on the stopcock or pump and check for leakage at the joints.
POST INSTALLATION OBSERVATION
The fully GUARANTEED SCALETRON is manufactured in India in technical collaboration with Fluid Dynamics International Ltd., UK It immediately alleviates new scale formation and gradually dissolve existing scales. In the first few months after installation small flakes of old scale may appear in baths and basins.
